Garage Sale-ing

So you know when you do one thing or purchase one small item it can cause a chain of events? SO last Friday I helped a lady at my church with her garage sale which meant that I had to come home with a few things. One thing was a kitchen island thingy which had to go in the kitchen which meant that I had to move the kitchen table...Since I moved the kitchen table , I had to move the bookshelf so I could put the table in the dining room...I moved that bookcase to where the other bookcase was which meant I had to move that bookcase into the bedroom which meant that I had to move the bassinet. By the end of the day we had rearranged the entire apartment:) The chair is my new nifty computer chair-cool huh! Ignore the mess in the pictures...rearranging has a way of creating clutter!

The Amazing Sitting Baby

So this has been a busy week for Marcy and the whole family. This is Joey's last week of school free before classes resume on Tuesday. He's spending his time playing with the infamous frogs (the one that helped cause the pitchfork incident) and building terrariums. Marcy and I have been out and about everyday this week. We've spent a lot of time fellow-shipping with fellow parishioners, tutoring, kids questing, and watching tv:) Her auntie Laura tried propping her up on her boppy pillow and it worked--she is enjoying Law and Order. Mom--don't worry she doesn't watch it very much--just for our entertainment watching her fold in half, she seems to do better sitting when she has something to concentrate on.

Heres an update:

Since Joey is always taking in the hurt and wounded and motherless...here are some more pictures of the latest batch. Their names are Jiffy(boy) and Nutella(girl). Marcy is just starting to be able to hold objects for an amount of time. We're taking pride in the small tiny steps:) She also now likes to do a half sit-up. Her neck is finally getting stronger because she is sleeping all the time on her stomach. She started a new medicine today (which tastes vile) so hopefully it works a bit better than the zantac.
