Lots to be festive about...

We have got LOTS to be festive about, as the title strongly alludes to.  First pics are of the Memorial Day parades-we raced around and made it to Oostburg, Sheboygan, and Hingham's parades all within 1 1/2 hours of eachother. We've got a few tootsie rolls hanging around now:)

Here's the official pictures of the paper work and the gratuitous pic in front of the sold sign. WE ARE HOMEOWNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels SO good and we are SOOOO happy! Come visit us at our new home anytime!  (stay tuned for more pictures to come...the bushes in front of the house are no more)

Diana got to experience her first trip to Noah's Ark with us all this June and she thought it was pretty cool.  Not really, any time we put her in water she complained...loudly!  Great time was had by all.  We tried convincing Karl and Katie to elope in the very same chapel in the Dell's that everyone tried to convince me and Joey to elope at... no luck.  Highlight of the trip:  our hotel room was double booked so they seriously upgraded us to another hotel they owned which had a sweet loft bedroom.

Our big little girl!

On Monday we had the opportunity to go to a Brewer's game courtesy of Ben.  So Karolyn, Ben, Naomi, Dominick, Mom, Erika, Laura, Karl, and Katie took off for Milwaukee.  We tailgated with some delicious burgers and chicken wings--although the Brewer's lost it was still a hoot.  It was also Diana's first Brewer's game and she got a little certificate that we filled out certifying her first (hopefully of many) game.
To continue with Diana-we had her two month check up and here are her enormous stats:)  She is 13 lbs 1 oz and 23 inches long-this puts her in the 90th percentile for height and weight.  This means she's huge!  Our little peanut has packed on the weight and we're glad she's so healthy.  She has a first too---drumrole......she has slept through the night twice in the past week!  She gave us 8 straight hours of sleep both time with makes us feel like rockstars come morning!!!

This little monkey toy is Diana's best friend--she constantly chats to it and love falling asleep while looking at it-it is quite sweet.

I took these smiling pics of Diana in this particular onesie because Marcy's first documented pics were in this onesie so---if I can recover those from our busted old computer we can compare!
Right before Naomi dumped a whole cup of grape drink on herself...

Naomi photo-bombing us:)

 Sausage pics:)

Marcy watched me use the booger sucker a few times and she thought she'd try it on herself...then when I wasn't paying attention......Diana's poor ear has been booger sucked

Diana is one happy camper almost all of the time.  When she turned about 7 weeks old she became the most pleasant little girl and it has become quite fun!  She is one chunky happy girl:)

Marcy only lasts about two seconds holding Diana-and when she's finished she simply trys to drop her and walk away.  Needless to say, there isn't any unsupervised holding time:)

Deleted posts

Any reader out there know how to get back deleted posts?  I do NOT care for this new style of blogspot and in my stumblings, I deleted 5 or so posts.  I am frustrated and would like to know how to get them back if possible! Please help!

Baptism, visits, and much much more!

In this post you get quite a variety of pics!  You get to see the variety of Marcy faces and modeling her first pair of sunglasses:)  You can see Diana's first captured smiles--this is really hard to do!  Now I think I'll try again because she is smiling ALOT and she is now recognizing when Marcy invades her space and will smile at Marcy.  We have a few from Diana's baptism which was April 15-my sister Martina was in town so it was great that she got to be there for this special day.  Thanks to everyone to came to support us in this covenant of baptism!   We got matching outfits for all of the grandkids on the Gesch side of the family and took a ba-jillion pics and managed to get a few good ones!   And the very last picture is Diana's first smile at a stranger--my sister Karolyn was trying to calm her down and our friend Rachel came over and just started talking to her and Diana grinned away:) It was darling!!!!!
Two months into being parents of two children I think we've settled into a good pattern of a smidge more sleep and lots more smiles and the beginnings of a routine.  We're so thankful to all be happy (most of the time) and healthy!
