Happy Easter!

One morning at breakfast Marcy turned to Diana and said, "Did you know that God made Jesus not dead?"  To which Diana responded, "NO!"   Turdliness aside, it is nice to know when some concepts are finally sinking in!

So we've got two little girl updates :
Our Diana is now 2 and is pretty healthy.  We have been struggling with dislocated elbows for most of the winter but as of late we've gotten a brief respite.  She is in the 80% for her height and weight and is SLOWLY growing bits of hair :)

 We're potty training so she spends a lot of time sitting.  She gets bored and that's when things get interesting :)

Next on the docket is a 6 mo check for our little Violet.  She is also near the top of the charts in around the 70-85 % in her height and weight.  She can sit and roll like a champ but no crawling yet.  She has some slight  mouth issues so we're behind on baby food/table food but she's still growing like a weed so we're not concerned.  She sleeps through the night most nights so that makes for a very happy mom:) Marcy is LOVING having the baby finally interact with her and they've become quite good buddies!

She got her ears pierced!!!!

We are so excited for Marcy to announce that she has finally gotten her ears pierced.  She has been day potty trained for over a year but the night is another story.  We have resorted to bribery.  We agreed to let her get her ears pierced if she could stay dry at night.  I thought I had until Kindergarten because this is the first kid we've potty trained.,...I thought wrong. So, without further ado, here are some pics of Marcy getting her ears pierced.

 A common occurance in our house: twirling and wrestling...sometimes simultaneously.

 We've started a little family tradition where we do a family activity at the kitchen table every Monday night.  This night was snowflake making.  Aren't the girls' cutting skills incredible !

Aaaand we're twirling again:)  THe girls both had Cinderella dress up dresses on and matching long sleeve shirts too.  Had to document my insane need to match the girls--you know its bad when it happens on accident.

At the Oostburg Christmas parade.  Tessa and Diana weren't very sure of Minnie Mouse.

 Supposedly in this picture are Marcy, Dominick, Bj, and Naomi.  They were cute little angels...super cold, dressed in snow pants, and flash light wielding cute cold angels.
