LOOK!!! (very closely)

If you look just above the white glare you can see that her first tooth is popping through! The one on the left is following close behind! I find it so strange that its so rough for her but we've been consoling her in her fragile state and it seems, though it may be a quick prognosis, that she will make it through this ordeal. We all are quite excited for her:)

Its kind of strange, it seems like she hasn't had any new tricks in quite a while so the whole teeth thing is kinda fun! She's just been on the precipice of crawling for almost 2 months, she's been sitting very well on her own for 2 months, and she's been rolling around the ground for 1 ish months. Sooo maybe the tooth thing will inspire her to crawl, or walk! I think that since her cousin Savannah is quite quick on the crawling, walking, toothing thing it makes me excited for Marcy to catch up.

This past weekend Marc was in town visiting (his namesake) and took us all out for brunch (hoity-toity :) ) And it was Marc's birthday so the restaurant brought him a cupcake and we all sung happy birthday...really really quietly. The jazz musicians sang happy birthday to like 4 other people. The coolest one was for a 94 year old woman--she looked great!
P.S Marcy REALLY wanted his cupcake:)

More of My Hobby

I recently decided to make my hobby more efficient, I found this cool cage-top thingy for my aquarium and decided that I could keep my frog with my axolotl and erika's goldfish all in the same enclosure this way we only have 1 aquarium and I can keep my critters in less space so I set it up, and Lady frog lives in the top cage part with all the branches and leaves and junk, Axle and Erika's goldfish live in the bottom, separated by a divider. It's not quite perfect... but it's close. I think Lady Frog and Axle are both quite a bit happier than before.

Oh, and Lady Frog likes to use the filter for the bottom part as her personal Jacuzzi during the day. At night she comes out and climbs around in the branches.

Hooray for new clothes!

Thanks for all of the cool clothes! Here are some 'tights' pictures. The not so good one is because she did her little vomit thing in her mouth right as I took the picture...and since it looked funny I posted it:) Look at the bottom of the third picture to see my little shoe model:) We can't wait to put her in the Packers shirt for the big game!!

Marcy cannot crawl yet but she's finding her knees kinda fun! I had to place her knees under her for the picture but she can sometimes do it on her own. Her favorite game is for me to place three toys around the living room and she rolls around to find them:) It entertains her for just about an hour each time! So even though she can't crawl she finds a way to make her self mobile!

We had Don and Shirley over for supper last night and we all had a great time! Marcy performed well and the food tasted great!! Success!

Whose baby is that?

Karl impersonating a movie character.

Phil Wenneck: Whose baby is that?
Stu Price: Alan, are you sure you didn't see anyone else in the suite?
Alan Garner: Yeah, I checked all the rooms... no one's there. Check its collar or something

Alan Garner: You hear that? The baby's name is Tyler.
Phil Wenneck: Yeah, I thought he looked more like a Carlos too, bud

SOOO last week we had some visitors and I forgot to show off some pictures. The problem is that there isn't a single picture of the whole group to prove that we were all together:) I had a blast and I think they did too!

Karl, his girlfriend Katie, Willie, and Anna were on a choir tour that spent 4 or 5 days in Denver. Karl, Katie, and Willie spent all of the nights at my house. I got to hear them sing twice, only the end, and the same two songs but the two that I heard were great:) (There was never child care and Marcy doesn't sit so well during concerts!)

On their "free" day we explored Denver downtown. We tried getting into the Denver mint but couldn't get in and drove in circles and circles and circles trying to find a parking spot. They really got familiar with the downtown street layout and one way streets and the many taken parking spots:) We happened to be downtown at the capitol on the day that our governor Hickenlooper was sworn in-that was kinda cool to watch from a circling perspective. We also explored a beautiful Catholic church that the city was built around but not swallowed! Then we went to a Gesch family DREAM restaurant. Its called the Buckhorn exchange and it features I think over 450 "stuffed" animals. Zebras, wolverines, squirrels, buffalo etc... We each had a fairly exotic meal and made our way onward and forward. We toured some nearby sights and headed home. It was a really fun weekend!

(Now that they've left I came up with 2 way better things to do. So you other people should come visit cause I've got some pretty good ideas:))

After the weekend was over... reminiscing over the good times:
Alan Garner: [repeatedly singing] And we're the three best friends that anyone could have

Marcy is practicing for the summer. Shockingly she let them on her face until we took them off!!

The Nursery

I wanted to show some pictures of Marcy's bedroom before we take it apart for the move. We would have liked to paint the walls and decorate a bit more but we like it alot how it is now! The pattern on the bedding is hippos:)
