Happy Early Birthday me:)

Although I was looking forward to opening a birthday present on my birthday, Joey outdid himself this year so I could forgive him:) !!  At first I was annoyed because it looks like he spent a lot of money on the gift.  However, those of you who know him know that he can be extremely resourceful.  Joey traded vet care (vaccinations + home administration) evenly for the book shelves.  I have wanted these for quite some time--mostly because we've used a side table as our desk for almost a year-this is quite hard on the back even for a short person.  Joey sitting at the old desk was quite comical:)  I also wanted them because they are beautiful!  Yay for Joey!

Here's more pictures of Marcy in her very typical lounging position and some shots of her teeth.  Also, I've discovered that I have probably misled many of you.  Marcy does indeed own pants.  It just so happens that I only put them on for special occasions:)  No, for real she wears them but I usually take pictures right after a nap when she's happiest and I take off her pants for naps.  Plus she has such toned sculpted legs who wouldn't want to show them off:)  So to reiterate, Marcy does own pants and does wear them.

Here's the pretty purse that I consider part of my birthday present:)

Brick Wall

This is the wall I have reached.  I am trying to play with the format of this blog and getting extremely frustrated.  Ergo the wall.  Until I can figure out my formatting issues you will not have the pleasure of looking at a lovely background to go with our lovely posts.

On a totally different note--Joey and I got this really cool table at a local thrift store.  We plan to use it during summers for meals or fun projects outside.  Go here and scroll down for a while to find the picture.  its even created by a Milwaukee color--the only exception is that ours is a sunshiney yellow colour.  You're all welcome to share mini picnics with us any time:)
We also found a REALLY cool purse that Joey bought for me because I've been feeling short on purses as of late.   The brand is Carpetbags of America and it is vintage 60's and beautiful.  It is an olive green shoulder purse with a chevron shaped fabric enhancement at the top.  If you look them up online most are kinda ugly-I like to think that mine is the most beautiful one.  If I can find the darn camera I'd post the picture of it.

LOOK!!! (very closely)

If you look just above the white glare you can see that her first tooth is popping through! The one on the left is following close behind! I find it so strange that its so rough for her but we've been consoling her in her fragile state and it seems, though it may be a quick prognosis, that she will make it through this ordeal. We all are quite excited for her:)

Its kind of strange, it seems like she hasn't had any new tricks in quite a while so the whole teeth thing is kinda fun! She's just been on the precipice of crawling for almost 2 months, she's been sitting very well on her own for 2 months, and she's been rolling around the ground for 1 ish months. Sooo maybe the tooth thing will inspire her to crawl, or walk! I think that since her cousin Savannah is quite quick on the crawling, walking, toothing thing it makes me excited for Marcy to catch up.

This past weekend Marc was in town visiting (his namesake) and took us all out for brunch (hoity-toity :) ) And it was Marc's birthday so the restaurant brought him a cupcake and we all sung happy birthday...really really quietly. The jazz musicians sang happy birthday to like 4 other people. The coolest one was for a 94 year old woman--she looked great!
P.S Marcy REALLY wanted his cupcake:)
